Dave Schwotzer came to meet with the selectmen in regard to a water issue he has on his property. He said that water from Mount Cardigan and Washburn run through the Mundy and Quigg properties into a culvert onto the Platts property. Because his land is lower than the Platts, the water then ends up on his property. He would like the town to consider removing the culvert and constructing a swale and ditch so the water will go to the river. The selectmen said they would have the road agent and Dennis Ford meet to discuss his request.
Jeff Cantara gave a short update on the highway department’s activities. They are not undertaking any major projects due to budget constraints caused by last winter’s storms.
The Gordon Hill swale and pipe installation is complete; Belser Road is being worked on.
Kate Barrett, on behalf of the conservation commission, that the member voted to do water testing above and below the power plant in order to establish a baseline reading prior to any discharge being done. They may also do the same in the vicinity of the old Bucklin Farm. Christie was asked if she has heard anything on the DeRoma activities on Town Pound Road; she has not. It is in the hands of NHDES. It was agreed that a clarification of the driveway policy may be in order with regard to old accesses that have not been used in a number of years.

An Intent to Cut for Peter Brown was signed
